Ugh. I was so sad to hear about David Bowie tonight. He was such an AMAZING musician and performer…he will forever be missed.
This is one of my favorite song’s of his, and I think it’s a beautiful choice for a first dance wedding song. It’s just the right tempo, and it’s got enough drama packed into it to make it memorable for you and your guests.
While there are a ton of covers of David Bowie’s “Heroes”, none can really compare to the original. So, even though I’m generally a big fan of covers, in this case I highly recommend going with the original. Nobody does it better than Bowie.
